Your responsibilities

• You significantly contribute to the development of our web-app by writing, testing and reviewing code and bringing it to production
• You participate in the planning of development tasks. This way you can influence what new features will look like early on
• You work on the scalability of our web-app by constantly looking for possible improvements in existing and newly emerging microservices
• You are a constant learner and have meaningful impact on our tech-stack so that we keep on dealing with millions and billions of data points

Your profile

• DevOps mindset and willingness to learn
• You are growth-oriented and like to solve complex problems
• You are reliable and self-organized
• You have a passion for clean, readable and efficient code
• You value the big picture more than single isolated solutions
• You love to take ownership and accompany features from concept to launch
• You have at least 2 years experience in the development of web applications
• Good knowledge of HTML/CSS (classical web design is not necessary because we have a UI pattern catalog)
• Experience with JavaScript and any browser-side programming framework (React, Angular, vue.js)
• Excellent knowledge of RDBMS
• Experience with Java EE, Spring or a comparable framework

Nice-to-haves

• German is a plus
• Ideally experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Ideally, experience with NoSQL datastores

• By improving our demand-predicition and rate-recommendation algorithm we mutually help each other to reach new professional shores
  
• You actively contribute to development, optimisation and implementation of demand-forecast models
  
• In order to be well-prepared for upcoming features you participate in the planning of development tasks. This way you can early on influence what new features will look like

What we expect from you

• Enthusiasm for big data and knowledge of stochastic foundation to process it
• 2+ years experience in field of data science/analytics
• Very good programming skills in Python/R or similar
• Experience with scalable machine learning algorithms, time-series analyses or clustering algorithms are a plus
  
• You are "growth-driven" and like to solve complex problems
  
• You are reliable, willing to learn and self-organised
